SEGA has revealed that it will be releasing the highly anticipated Sonic Unleashed for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Wii this November.
The upcoming platformer looks set to reinstall faith back into the venerable franchise following the underwhelming performance of 2006’s Sonic the Hedgehog on PS3/360.
Elsewhere, the publisher also confirmed a June 27 release date for Beijing 2008, followed by Golden Axe: Beast Rider (PS3/360) and Yakuza 2 (PS2) in September.
Alpha Protocol and Aliens: Colonial Marines will follow during the first quarter of 2009 on PS3/360/PC.

Sonic Unleashed
I didn't know Sega still developed / Published games!
you know, it still seems like this game is coming out way to soon, i mean wasnt it just unveiled earlier this year? i could still be a decent game in the end tho....
Hum, another cr@ppy sonic game, no thank's! but golden axe has my attention!
I don't see any of these as 'key' releases, though I'm interested to see what they do with the Aliens game. Hopefully it will be worthy of the name, and not just another botched movie tie-in.

Yeah, you'd think that the Shinobi line would be a huge next-gen franchise for them. They probably don't want to compete with Ninja Gaiden, but I never liked that. I remember playing the Shinobi COIN-OP! That's how far back I go.
Lol, I didn't know Sonic Unleashed was "highly anticipated" :P
These might have been key releases back when Sega had a console but not so much now.
Well SEGAY is just publishing the Aliens game. Isn't Gearbox making that game?
EDIT: Whoops! I said SEGAY, not that it really matters
psn id: gingo... aliens:colonial marines looks quite decent but everything else looks quite shoddy, sega have really gone downhill over the last 10 years
Pfft Sega really hasn't got their development group fixed since the Dreamcast. Its like the glory days and prime of Sega has long been gone. At least for us who played in the genesis/snes era
