IGN has obtained advanced confirmation ahead of Ubisoft’s Ubidays event later today that the publisher is planning on bringing Shaun White Snowboarding to the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
According reports, the game will take on a similar style to that of the Xbox 360 title, Amped 3, and allows gamers to participate online either by themselves or against up to 32 other players.
Utilizing the same engine as Assassin’s Creed, Shaun White Snowboarding employs a more realistic approach to the genre compared with previous games such as SSX, focusing on real life physics and other such areas.
More information on the game is expected later today at Ubidays, so stay tuned for further coverage.

Snowboarding game? I'll pass.
nexxxxxxt, bring back the ssx.
FINALLY!!! Emo-Mercenary, if you don't snowboard, there's no need to trash the game, especially before any screens or video have even been released. I don't like RPG games, nor do I play baseball, but you don't see me yawning over the next Final Fantasy or MLB The Show release. Please try and be a little more considerate of others' tastes. And even if you do snowboard, coolboarders and the original Amped were both awesome games. People first said this about Skate when it was annouced to. Please, don't hate.
hummm wish they'd bring back SSX Tricky, thats the best snowboarding game I've played! Great Fun!
psn id: gingo.... seen a preview of this in the uk playstation magazine, doesn't look anything like ssx but its not as bad as some of the trash snowboarding games we have seen
defenitly going to buy this game coming out. should be just like SKATE but with snow boarding and sixaxis.
shaun who?
mine!
SSX and Amped were awesome games to play for hours on end. Amped 2 was the only game I could never beat my girlfriend in.
I still remember the game "cool boarders" I think it was by far the best snowboarding franchise. Hopefully this will just be an updated, and improved version of that game.
