Silent Hill Origins hitting UK stores this May

Posted on February 6th, 2008 at 09:02 EDT

Konami Digital Entertainment announced today that it would be bringing Silent Hill Origins on PlayStation 2 to the UK this May.

News comes following last month’s confirmation that the game – originally released on the PlayStation Portable last year – would finally be receiving a PS2 port following months of Internet rumours.

The game serves as a prequel to the original 1999 release, pitting gamers in the shoes of truck driver Travis O’ Grady, who finds himself caught up in the fog bound streets after rescuing a young girl from nearby house fire.

A North American release date has yet to be announced, but we expect to hear of one shortly.

Stay tuned.

I thought getting a PSP would mean you could play games that were so technical superior so it could almost be 6th gen games, PORTABLE!!!! I don't get why PSP is selling so badly (compared to DS), when it's actually able to play games like that!
