Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) President John Smedley is to deliver the inaugural keynote speech at the upcoming ION Game Conference in Seattle this May.
The keynote will include details on the success of the Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) market, in addition to SOE’s own accomplishments over the years. Furthermore, Smedley will also discuss development of the upcoming PlayStation 3 and PC title, The Agency.
Peter Freese, Conference Director for the 2008 ION Game Conference, commented, "John Smedley and SOE have had an indelible impact in the online game industry.”
"His insight of the past and vision for the future is a message we are excited to share with our attendees."
The conference is scheduled to take place in Seattle on May 13 – 15.

John Smedley is awesome, if it is the same smedley who use to make gigantic gnomes in everquest 1 for gm events. LOL this guy does love his online gaming it seems like
