Can someone answer this? Is Prologue a slimmed down version of the full thing due out later or is this the full blown game?

Update: Thanks for the info. But it does seem like a bit of a scam to be charging for a demo. Don't get me wrong, I love Sony and the GT series, but why are they nickle and diming us? I am getting a little frustraded with the developers and their hesitation or possibly their lack of tallent to make something for the PS3 and stick to a release date. *cough* HAZE *cough*

It's a "thick" demo, dude.  It's the "prologue".  Just the beginning.

I'm not bothering to spend any money on Prologue now. Seriously these guys need to get their act together with Gran Turismo and quite a few other major titles they are struggling with. Fu*ck Prologue its a lousy rip off demo, we needed the full game 6 months ago, not a year from now.

Rushed into town on lunch break. Got GT5 in GAME, flew home to try it out quickly and it starts doing updates. Left it running as its already taken 45 mins! Oh well at least I have it.

Prologue is just a lame excuse to try and hold fans over until GT5 comes out.  They should have just put everyone into GT5 and got it out in 2008.  Sucks for all of you racing sim fans.  This is one game I could care less if it ever came out.

I suspect it's a large download, with equally as large bandwidth required for all the downloads expected, hence "technical difficulties". :/

i share my account with my brother and he lives in another city. so it makes sense to get the download version so we can both have it while only paying for it once. its a shame they couldn't get it out on time but as long as it's out soon i'm not too fussed

Now if it would have been delayed a couple months or something, then fine, but man it's just a couple day/s and it's just a GAME! I think a lot of us get so into games that we start forgetting they are just that. They aren't meant to be our life, just add to it.

Whoever you Gran Turismo hating bastards are calm yourselves down. Prolouge is only coming out now becasue

1) Otherwise you would have to wait till like 2010 to paly GT5.

2) GT has never been online before and they want to get it right. You try making a game that good and the listen to idiots like you who moan about it.

I can't believe people are whining about having to buy this GT5 demo.  I think you should all just be glad that we get the free demos that we get now.  Last time I checked, businesses weren't obligated to give us any free stuff, I guess some people are just never satisfied.

If you can't wait to get GT5P that bad, then just go buy the f'n blu-ray! Else, shut your ugly mug with the "OMG IM GETTING A 360", "EFF YEW SONY", "HAZE OMG! DELAYS!" and just get a f|_|CKING LIFE.

Lastly, the amount of content in GT5P is enought to warrent a small charge anyday. Heck, some games dont even have the amount of vehicals and maps that GT5P has and they charge full price.

What I don't understand is that its clearly ready to be put on blueray but its not ready for the psn store? So does that mean the game on blueray is faulty also?

The DelayStation....can anything be on time. If I never met deadlines or was always late I would be fired from my job. But Sony gets a free pass all the time....call me when HOME or XMB update is released. Otherwise my $400.00 dollar telephone will be collecting dust...
