Regular shipments of DualShock 3 incoming, says Sony UK
Dark Sector Devs lending hand in BioShock DevelopmentWith all of the CES announcements for the PlayStation Portable such as Skype and the Keyboard, many owners of the platform have asked the question, “What about the games”? Breakout titles this year such as God of War: Chains of Olympus and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core should no doubt prove to be instant hits and generate much interest in the handheld platform, but beyond that, what else is on the horizon?
In hopes to expand their demographic and usability, Sony is going to introduce micro “pick up and play” games to the PC PlayStation Store. This is all according to John Koller, Senior Product Manager for the PSP. On the other hand, Sony has plans to bring older PSP titles to the PlayStation Store. Koller explains that these titles will be titles that "retailers aren't interested in carrying at this stage, games that we hear a lot of demand from PSP owners - titles like Wipeout, Twisted Metal”.
It is good to hear that core games will soon become downloadable, thus getting rid of the hardcopies that might get scattered all over the place. So in retrospect, it is nice to see the PSP getting some attention from the videogame aspect. While it is said that the PS3 should have a huge year this year, the PSP should also be railed to great interest as well.

psn id: gingo... seems a good idea much like the playstation 3 store but with more casual games like beats it should appeal as a good way to get fun games
Ther'ye are already a few games on the US PS Store!
they will be just flash games you can play on there anyway for free.
is it worth getting a psp for????
I think its worth getting a PSP now. I have a PSP Slim on my anniversary wishlist for my wife to get. Its more than likely going to be a great year for the PSP because there are some really good games coming out. Its also cool to be able to play any PSOne game via remote play now. I guess it all depends on what you like and what you want. I am looking forward to seeing what downloadable titles will come to the handheld.
I am wondering if there is going to be a PSP mini, how much space would there be?
This might work if they would make the MemorySticks more affordable. I don't pay retail for mine but $90 for an 8GB is outrageous. Find a legit seller on eBay and you can get an 8GB for ~$40USD.
The PSP is showing it's potential for real now. I've enjoyed mine the last nearly two years before the innovation. I'll be downloading a couple of those PSP games off of the PSN to see what they're like.
