Namco Bandai Games has confirmed that its highly anticipated fighter Soul Calibur IV has gone gold, and will be released across North America as scheduled on July 29, 2008.
Due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the fourth instalment in the critically acclaimed beat ‘em up franchise introduces online play for the first time in the series, in addition to incorporating special ‘critical finish' moves, allowing players to dispatch their opponent in a single, deadly strike.
As mentioned previously, the PS3 version also features Darth Vader as an exclusive playable character, while Xbox 360 owners will be treated to Jedi Master Yoda. In addition to the above, the Secret Apprentice from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is included in both versions as a playable fighter.

Just learned that a 2GB install is needed, not to bad compared to other games

@matrixsixaxis lol i thought it was the opposite, ive only seen collectors edition in PAL region - nz gpstore, but no collectors for NTSC regions
