Maxis has revealed at Games Convention 2007 in Leipzig that it may decide to develop a console version of Spore in the future. No one knows if it will be on either the PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii but it's currently scheduled to be released on the DS and PC in 2008.
Maxis clearly revealed their intentions when questioned behind closed doors. Execeutive Patric Buechener revealed this information when someone inquired about console versions of the game. He replied: "Not right now, but we see this as a franchise. It just won't be at launch.”
Spore is an interactive simulation game where the players are in control of life itself. Beginning in the ooze, players create a character from DNA that will grow, survive, and mate as it evolves.

that game looks tooooo sick im not buying it for my ps3 if its comin out sooner for the pc cant wait :D
I am tempted to upgrade my PC. Alot of games seem to be going to the PC all of a sudden. I need to look at my options I think. PC games also look better priced and the hard drives are 750GB + so there is pleanty of room... All good, the only bad is the money. A PC is going to cost me $2K
