psn id: gingo... they surely couldn't give this to xbox as an exclusive when there is simply no market in japan, graphics look too good for the wii so i'm sniffing another ps3 exclusive from squeenix

I've actually been waiting on this game for a while, and I doubt this game won't come out on PS3, the previous games have all been on a Playstation console and they're remaking Star Ocean 1 + 2 for the PSP

I loved star ocean 3 on ps2 if its half as good as that it will be amazing

the trailer was on the Star Ocean for PSP, so why would anyone think that it wouldn't be on PS3?  And I read in another forum that SO4 was confirmed as a PS3 exclusive by Famitsu.

hmm it shouldnt go to xbox360 for this reason only they are getting an exclusive from tri ace and square-enix uninfinite discovery. Therefore the star ocean franchise have been soley with sony from the ps1 days so i couldnt see them wanting to do that selling the game on the 360 in japan Especially how the 360 sales are there.

Another thing is that unfinite discovery thats tri ace and square-enix profit for that console so it would be fair if they make an early profit off the ps3 with star ocean iv exclusive for the ps3. But what may end up happening they may release it on the 360 also just for teh heck of it lol.

I liked the trailer; it's more of a teaser but still good.
As far as the exclusivity; I bet it will be multi-plat (360 & PS3).  I doubt they would throw another PS3 exclusive until the PS3 really really picks up and until they see how well FFXIII and Versus XIII sell; but as someone mentioned, there isn't much of a market in the 360 for RPGs (especially in Japan) so I'm guessing it will be PS3 and 360.

if SE give this game to the 360, i will personally burn there house down. . . well maybe it's not that serious; but this would make me highly upset. even if it goes multi-plat, i'll still be mad. i freaking realize how much i dislike the 360 and it's games(exept mass effect, that game is freaking awesome).

I've never heard of this game before now, trailer looks really good. Could do with a bit more information on the game itself though. Come on PSU the reason I joined this site was to get info on upcoming games, not to hear old lady gossip.

love the franchise and star ocean 3 is the best on PS2 difficult bosses and multiple side quest I swear i put about 150 hours into that game already and i still havent completed all the side quest.... haven't played it in a while. Square- Enix needs to come with more of these with a great story and action packed, and put a thrill behind it.
