Capcom seems to enjoy a good brawl with other companies. This mustn't be taken literally of course, but Capcom characters have often squared off against the likes of those within other universes in such titles as Marvel vs Capcom and SNK vs Capcom. It appears they're at it again as the just-revealed Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes proves.
Published by Capcom, this arcade fighting game is set to feature characters from Tatsunoko Production and Capcom, including Ryu and Chun Li from Street Fighter, Ken Washio from Gatchaman, Speed Racer from Hiroshi Sasagawa's Speed Racer and many more.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom is set to release sometime during 2008 in arcades, but we've heard whispers that the title will later be ported to PS3 and Xbox 360. Stay tuned for official word later this year.

Just so you know Tatsunoko controls properties like Gatchaman(G-force), Cashern(Casshan), Speed Racer, Huricane Polymer, Tekkaman (Technoman), Macross(Robotech), Kyatto ninden teyande(Samurai Pizza cats), Soul Taker, Nurse witch Kumugi and Karas.
God, they could make an awesom fighting game with just the Tatsunoko properties alone! nevermind the Streetfighter stable!
To be completely honest I really wouldn't mind another SNK vs capcom. But then again it looks like capcom is sticking to their new 3d style characters.
Not entirely familiar with the other company, would've preferred a sequal to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 but this might be good.

As many said before....another Marvel vs. Capcom would be a more welcomed title. I just don't know about these out of the blue vs. games as of late...atleast Marvel vs capcom was warmed up with xmen vs SF......hairbrain ideas like MK vs DC and now this....whats next, Capcom vs Power Rangers?
tatsunoko is an anime company and have made some games as well with their anime. But its still better than MKvsDC.... MK doesnt go with DC at all
it's a hundred times more cool than MK vs DC. If you dont know Tatsunoko then turn in your anime fan card because you ARNT one.
There will never be a sequel to marvel vs capcom. it was a one off and will never be done again becaise marvel characters change far too often, non of the characters where the same costumes anymore and half of them are probably dead, the Marvel universe has very little consistency and like 3 different continuities now with things like the Max, Ultimates and standard lines that make it hard to tell which univerese you're in. It's so bad I've stopped trying to collect their books entirely.
