Japanese gamers will be treated to a total of three retail packages to celebrate the release of Konami’s upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, according to the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly.
The publication revealed that the highly anticipated stealth title would ship as a standard, special or premium edition pack when the game hits store shelves supposedly on June 12, 2008.
As expected, the standard base pack includes a copy of MGS4 along with Metal Gear Online. However, consumers looking to commemorate Solid Snake’s latest outing in style can look forward to picking up the special edition, which adds a Blu-ray disc containing all of MGS4’s trailers released to date, along with making-of footage.
Finally, the Premium package should prove ideal for new adopters, containing all of the above in addition to a PlayStation 3 games console. Although North American fans will be treated to a 80GB MGS4 pack, it is currently unknown what PS3 model is planned for Japan, seeing as how the 80GB unit has never been released there (according to Famitsu, the PS3 console will be some form of "special model.”)
More details are expected on March 21.

I was always curious what this picture was the 3rd pic , its just the clue of the 80gb ps3 bundle releasing in japan with ds3 + 80gb console + mgs 4 blu ray disc.

They should maybe add the collectors edition in the ps3 bundle that would be nice i think thats what their doing.
i think the ? PS3 is showing that the PS3 will probably be different size for each reagon maby? like US is the 80gb but jpn and Eu hasnt been stated yet.

I read this yesterday but it doesn't really apply to anyone outside of Japan. I really hope Konami follows the trend to change the boxart for the US. I hate that cover.
