Epic better get this game out before that, because the way things are going with Killzone, i think u have to have balls of steel to even think about launching the game close to the killzone launch.

What are you talking about Curtis? The forum tells the same thing. There's a good chance it's going to be delayed and that it should be considered a good thing. The usual, '...so we can polish it. And now we can include all the maps that the pc version has.' Big deal. That could have been a download if anything. If it's not out before the new year and well before the 360 version, I'll save the $70 and get something else. I'm sooo mad >:o(

Mark Rein came out and said the game will be out when it's done, saying that a December release is a possibility.  He also said that now they have time to incorporate more of the maps from the PC version into the game so it's not entirely a bad thing I guess...still sucks though...real bad...my #1 game of the year

@ MMDS: The reason why we have not included information from Mark Rein is because we have contacted him and are in the process of getting  a statement from him directly. This article is based solely on the publishers statement about the game being delayed. As soon as we get word back from Mark Rein, we will have an update.

Microsoft could have paid Epic some money to "delay" the PS3 version.  Next we will see the PS3/Xbox 360 versions released at the same time.  Quote me on it!

whats up with theses delays like f**k its getting tooooooo annoying now. Day after day all i see is the word delay. sony is getting more delayed games than microsoft is. No wonder people chose xbox360 over ps3. I should have done the same and soon am.

I'm getting so sick of this bull. Midway really has something against the PS3. Sranglehold is still delayed and isn't coming out till God knows when and the 360 has had it since August!!!

Wow, my sh!tty week just keeps getting sh!ttier.  I guess UT3 is going to be put further down my list under "Wait until $49.99" category. Launch price for this year? Sure. Launch price after multiple month delay? Naaahhhh. I don't want it that badly.  It will just have to wait until I'm done with Killzone 2.

The saddest part is that I'd like to say I'm shocked but I can't.

lol, this is epics 1st game for the ps3 so y u asume straight away MS had anything to do with it, the ps3 isnt simple to work with. alot of u saying not getting it if it comes out the same time as 360 version, how does that make it any worse

its not there first game, dont forget stranglehold, and alot of ps3 owners i dont think would be happy at the fact if it came out the same time as the 360 version because we were going to have exclusivity! and i fricken knew this was going to happen from an earlier post of mine a few months back, come on midway please make us happy and bring it out on the day you said.

Delays on on PS3 titles - so whats the news?

The fact that it is Unreal Tournament is particularly distressing as Epic have working on the PS3 version some two years prior to PS3's release and has been presented as one of the icon games coming to the PS3 platform. Why it has been delayed is beyond me.

For some reason, the PC is getting more and more of the block busters. Bioshock & World in Conflict are increadible 9.0+ rated games. Soon it will get Team Fortress 2, UT3, Fallout 3, QuakeWars, plus Lucasarts: Insecticide, Spore, Hrllgate: London and ID's Rage, Starcraft 2, FarCry 2, as well as Call of Duty 4, Devil May Cry 4, Silent Hill 5, the next GTA installment, Jericho, Fury,  and now Enix is suggesting it wants to move onto the PC platform as well... What the F**K is happening?

PC has always been good for Strategy titles & FPS games like Unreal series - fine I understand those - but Devil May Cry ? & now Square? What's the bet the next Silent Hill is released on PC before PS3 by some months? Something is seriously wrong here.

Well I for 1 am not too concerned I love UT3 too, but who cares. There's plenty of games out on PS3 & 360 during this time. So I will have more than a handful playing all of them. It's better to have a more staggered release of games instead of having a surge during the holidays. GREAT games sell no matter when the release date, because you 'll rob, lie, cheat, and steal to get them. Me in RICH I'll just buy them all. HAHAHAHA!!
