Yakuza 3 demos hit Japanese PS Store

Posted on January 7th, 2008 at 08:50 EDT

As previously hinted at last week, Sega of Japan has released two demos of the forthcoming Yakuza: Kenzan! (Otherwise known as Yakuza 3) on the Japanese PlayStation Store today.

Weighing in at 839MB and 964MB, the demos give players a chance to view titles introduction sequence for the main story mode, in addition to allowing you to explore a portion of the games environments.

Yakuza 3 is a PS3-exclusive and third iteration in the critically acclaimed adventure series from Sega, and takes the form of a prequel set in the year 1605, based on the developers own hopes of rekindling the samurai spirit of Japanese history.

The full game is due out in Japan on March 6.

This is why PS3 will succeed. Unlike M$ who mainly concentrates in the US PS3 is all over the world. I got friends in Jamaica who loving it. At one point you would not hear much about Japanese games and what was going on over there. Now we are getting lot of info. Also if you want you can buy any Japanese PS3 game right now and play it on your U.S PS3 even the peripherals. I tell my friends Sony is more Global, which makes gaming more fun. Yakuza looks good.
